TURNQUIST HUNTING is located in the heart of south-central South Dakota--an area that is known for some of the best pheasant and deer hunting in the State!  Our headquarters is located only 7 miles from Winner, SD.  Pheasant hunting at its best in a variety of habitat.  We are unique in that we offer cane and corn strips to hunt and also have cattails, creek bottoms, and sloughs, and natural grasses---in seven or more locations within 4000 acres in the Winner area.  We are also unique in the fact that hunting groups are NOT combined--you hunt with your own group and shoot your own birds.  A guide is with you at all times at no extra charge.  Your dogs are welcome or combine with our chocolate labs-- at no extra charge.  Groups of 6-10 hunters make a nice hunt!

We also offer deer bow-hunting along the banks and hills of the Keya Paha River.  Call for more information.

LODGING-stay in a private, modern house; single and double beds; linens and towels are provided; full kitchen, satellite TV, wireless Internet, bird cleaning facility and freezer available for birds.  Our lodging facility is inspected by the SD Health Department to ensure a safe, clean facility.

Many hunters chose a commercial bird cleaning service in a near-by town where birds are cleaned, frozen, and ready for travel when you leave.  Some hunters prefer their birds shipped to their home; some hunters prefer some of their pheasants smoked for a delicious treat!

We are members of the Winner Chamber of Commerce; and members and supporters of Pheasants Forever.  We have been an established hunting business for over 10 years, but have had hunters returning to our fields for over 25 years.  We are a family-owned and family-orientated business.
